There are a lot of designer fruit bowls out there, most of exotic or expensive materials or construction. Too often the less expensive versions lack any formal sophistication at all.
We wanted to develop something that was 100% recycled plastic for a larger market. It was to have a distinctive, refined design with a eco-friendly pedigree. We had to develop the right mold design that takes into account the thicknesses required for recycled HDPE plastic- which there is a lot of and the manufacturing techniques are already widely in use.
Using recycled plastic for a roofing system introduces advantages to the production process as well as moredetailed design capabilities. The Tect roofing system offers a design that incorporate tubular hole sections in each tile that interlock to continuous tubes under the roof surface.
The unique design results in three primary benefits:
Free energy: Having the big surface of a roof, the sun heats ups the air in the tube system under the surface and allows a controlled air flow. The hot air can be collected for heating up water or generating energy.
Thermo insulated roof: Creating a controlled airflow provides the effect of cooling down the roof thus outside temperature air is fed back into the system at all times.
Easy mounting system: The plug connection between each tile guarantees a fast installation and a secure fastening for all weather conditions. The light weight of the tile offer additional benefits during the installation process
The BinderMate is a simple, reliable product that does the three things you need conventional binders to do and don't.
•It punches holes in paper- the hole punch is always handy and attached to the binder
•It holds the binder square, so binders are kept neater, can be stacked without falling and can stand up on their own
•It holds a pen or pencil reliably, because a binder by nature is portable
Flexible plastic hinges allow BinderMate to fold over on itself and punch holes in paper.
Designed to be a semi-rigid plastic one piece construction, BinderMate self adheres with strong double stick mounting tape to the inside of almost any binder.
It clips itself closed and the resulting other side of the velcro clasp is held in place with the same strong adhesive. It's inexpensive to produce in recycled plastic and stands up to rugged use.

Comments: I never underestimate the power of a product with “ab” in the name. Still, the price point on this item is about $10 too high for short-form DRTV, and the market being targeted is the minority of DRTV buyers. That’s why most fitness products are done as infomercials. Long-form buyers tend to skew younger and because there’s more time to sell, they aren’t as price sensitive.

Winner of the 2007 Materialica Design and Technology Award, the Muvman is designed to support when they sit or stand or anything in between.
